Why did you choose your IBS seminar vs any other study abroad program?

My choice to attend the Summer Europe seminar was the easiest choice I have ever made in my life. While doing thorough research about the many options that are offered for study abroad programs, IBS shined among the rest in more ways than one. IBS allowed me the opportunity to travel to multiple countries and have a multi-cultural experience. It was also the best fit for me in my first experience abroad with providing reassuring security of being both a supervised trip that also allowed for the opportunity to be independent as well.

What company did you enjoy learning from the most and why?

My favorite company that we visited was Swarovski Crystal in Austria. We learned how the founders’ original vision was to provide a diamond for everyone and to honor the environment and people around them. Learning their values and beliefs were very inspiring to hear about from a very passionate staff.

What was it like meeting and traveling with a group of people you didn’t know beforehand?

Having the opportunity to travel and meet a group of people that I had never met before was the best experience I could have been a part of. All 42 of us got along so well because we all had the same goals and visions that brought us together to commit to this adventure in the first place.
