Being able to travel to multiple cities and countries, what travel advice do you have for future students?
I would advise someone to do research and look into what they want to see or do. When you get there it can be a little overwhelming and when you get free time, the last thing you want to do is waste it on planning. Also, keep track of the weather before you go and pack accordingly.
What company did you enjoy learning from the most and why?
My favorite company was AMCHAM because I really enjoyed the speaker. I was very surprised by how well the executives knew English. I also enjoyed how she related the company to us students. For example, she was saying if we ever wanted to move to Thailand we should use AMCHAM to help get established in the country.
Do you intend on interning/working abroad in the future – if so, what did you learn from your seminar that will help you work/live abroad?
Yes, I do intend on working abroad in my future. Before this experience, it was always an idea in my head that I wanted to move and work in another country. After traveling with the IBS I can now definitely envision myself doing that. I learned a lot about the work cultures and that will help me in the future.
