Why did you choose your IBS seminar vs any other study abroad program?

It is a family requirement to travel abroad as my parents are strong believers that it is essential to broaden one’s perspective before graduating and entering the real world. As far as why I chose the IBS program when looking into other programs I was unable to find one that gave me not only the adventure of traveling to multiple countries and experiencing their culture but also getting to learn so much from such a diverse set of companies.

What did you learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?

The adventure was absolutely worthwhile as I was able to have more life experiences than I ever thought possible. I am able to say with complete confidence I could figure out how to get around in any country with the life skills I acquired on this trip.

What was it like meeting and traveling with a group of people you didn’t know beforehand?

I was nervous at first not knowing anyone, but as soon as we did introductions everyone was so excited to get to know everyone my anxiety instantly left. The group was so diverse we all brought great assets to the trip and it made it that much more memorable.
